The IAOM Mill Maintenance I Course will be offered on Oct. 8-11 in Kansas City, Missouri. A very full schedule of maintenance topics are planned, including: preventative maintenance; gates and valves; belts, compressors; electric motors; sifters; process auditing and automation.
IAOM will bring in experts from the industry’s equipment manufacturers and suppliers to teach various parts of the course, including AIB International, BS & B Safety Equipment, Bühler, Pepper Maintenance, Interstates, Kaeser Compressors, Martin Sprocket & Gear. During a tour of Great Western Mfg., Co., participants will have the opportunity to learn more about sieve and sifter maintenance. Dr. Jeff Gwirtz, JAG Services, will facilitate the course.
