At the annual IAOM Conference & Expo in 2013, Grain Millers, Inc., pledged a donation of $100,000 to establish an endowment to support the Christian F. Kongsore Scholarship. The Christian F. Kongsore Scholarship. In 2018, Grain Millers, Inc. donated an additional $54,000 to the scholarship fund to offer an additional scholarship for an undergraduate milling science student.
